Reading the Institutes

Calvin did not doubt that the objective world was enough to prove that God exists. But man is so damaged by sin that this testimony is not enough and this is why God reveals himself in his Word. My question - or observation - those who claim that it is enough to see God in his creation are actually saying that they neither need nor believe his Word. Are these people simply saying that there is no sin, that Man is not fallen and does indeed have the capacity and ability to know God solely through his creation?

How about the damaged version of the word?

How many times can so called Christians look at the same verse and see something different from the next Christian.

Who's version of the word is the correct version?

One can point to straight scripturre showing Jesus telling us he will sit at the right hand of God. And Christians will deny this statement is in the bible. They will say maybe he was funnin' us. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. Obviously the word on this scripture does not mean what it says.

So goes the cherry pickin' Christian making it up as he goes.
